I use the ScanCircle service so my customers can initiate a computer scan of their system and then integrate it into my support tickets. This scan will show me the specification details of your PC or laptop, including the Windows operating version, how much memory (RAM) your PC has installed, the processor speed, etc.

You got to this page in a few different ways...I might have asked you to visit this page in order to run a scan in perparation for creating a new support ticket, or I might have asked you to run a scan in order to update the specs of your PC. You also might have gotten here by clicking the ScanCircle link on my Home page.

Regardless, this scan is safe to run and will help me answer any questions you might have about the details of your computer. For instance, you might ask me if you're still running Windows 10, at which point I would suggest to you that an upgrade to Windows 11 would be in order.

Before you run the scan (instructions below), please fill in the EMAIL ADDRESS or PC NUMBER field. The number would have been given to you by Steve if he asked you to run this scan. If you're here on your own, you can type in your email address if you want, but it's not neccessary.

INSTRUCTIONS

Please click the Run Scan button below to download the scanning program (if you see a drop-down list when you move your mouse over the RUN SCAN button, choose the SINGLE SCAN option from the dropdown list). A small file will be downloaded to your PC named ScanCircle4D_en_woodssong.exe. Depending on the browser you're using, you should see the progress of the file being downloaded.

Once the file has been downloaded, you can click on this file to run the scan itself. you will see this screen while the scan runs;

When the scan is complete, your default browser will open showing you the results page of the scan, and a copy of the report will be sent to Steve.
